Little League® Worldwide Remembers Monya Lee Stotz Adkins, Eldest Daughter of Little League Founder Carl Stotz

Monya Lee Stotz Adkins, 86, the primary daughter of the late Carl E. Stotz, Little League Founder, and his late spouse, Grayce, has handed away. Little League® Worldwide President and CEO Stephen D. Keener presents heart-felt condolences on behalf of the complete Little League program and its thousands and thousands of volunteers, gamers, and followers.

“Via my years with Little League, I’ve had the privilege of attending to know the complete Stotz household and guarantee they may all proceed to be held within the highest regard all through our program,” stated Mr. Keener. “I anticipate anybody who knew their household will be consoled in realizing that Monya Lee relished the moments and recollections she skilled in her life.”

Mr. Stotz handed away in June of 1992, and Mrs. Stotz lived till August of 2006. Monya Lee is survived by her sister, Karen Stotz Myers, and her husband, Jim, of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

The long run Mrs. Adkins was simply two years previous when her father assembled the primary Little League Baseball® groups from kids of their neighborhood and arranged the primary Little League video games performed in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, throughout the summer time of 1939.
